Aebersold, Mathias
PhD student May 2013 to November 2017
Unraveling how billions of nerve cells in the human brain work together and carry out their functions from processing sensory signals to storing information is one of the key challenges of this century. I am interested in developing methods to engineer and study networks of neurons in a petri dish.
